the plant geography section

The Plant Geography Section covers an area of ca. 9 ha. Collections gathered here present the floral diversity divided according to the climate classification of plants. The biggest area is devoted to the flora of the temperate climate, where deciduous forests are growing. Many representatives of the dendroflora of the East Asian forests, including many broad-leaved and mixed mesophytic forests as well as a northern mixed forest and a riparian forest can be found there.
